My Secret Sauce

To living a life that is alive, dynamic and full of possibility

If I have a ‘secret sauce’ it is my ability to use imagination to engage with life as something alive, dynamic, and full of possibility—and to help others do the same.

I was a dreamy child. I believed in magical forests and faeries, convinced they existed just beyond the horizon of the end of the road, on the other side of the motorway.

Although I wasn’t encouraged to explore those boundaries, curiosity paved the way for a career in cutting-edge business technology and innovation..

Imagination was the key.

With an ability to envision new innovations in action I created the freedom to freelance and explore the world.

I travelled in Asia, Australia, Central and South America, ran a ski lodge in Australia, lived on a yacht in the Sea of Cortez for awhile and worked on an off-grid island in New Zealand.

But my journey didn’t stop there. I also began to travel inward.

Without a map I had only my imagination to guide me.

I was inspired to study anthropology, human behaviour and human potential.

I was invited to coach teams at work and mentor tech start-ups so that they too could see the possibilities of a future yet to be created.

I realised that imagination was more than a whimsical escape it was a tool for creating the life I wanted.

If, as Einstein said, “Imagination creates everything,” then imagination is its own kind of technology.

For the past 10 years, I’ve applied this technology, not just visualizing dreams but understanding the patterns and dynamics that either help or hinder their manifestation.

By holding the tension between where I am and where I want to be, I have created a business as an Imagination Technologist and founded Evolve – in person programs and events that teach and foster this magical technology of imagination.
